Then I contended with the nobles of Judah and said unto them, “What evil thing is this that ye do, and profane the Sabbath day?
Then I contended with the nobles of Judah, and said unto them, What evil thing is this that ye do, and profane the sabbath day?
Then I reprimanded the nobles of Judah, and said to them, “What is this evil thing that you are doing—profaning the Sabbath day?
Then I reproved the nobles of Judah and said, What evil thing is this that you do—profaning the Sabbath day?
Then I contended with the nobles of Judah, and said unto them, What evil thing is this that ye do, and profane the sabbath day?
I rebuked the nobles of Judah and said to them, “What is this evil you are doing—profaning the Sabbath day?
So I scolded the officials of Judah: “What is this evil thing that you are doing?” I asked. “You are making the Sabbath impure!
I disputed with the nobles of Y’hudah, demanding of them, “What is this terrible thing you are doing, profaning the day of Shabbat?
I got angry and said to the leaders of Judah, “This evil you are doing is an insult to the Sabbath!
And I contended with the nobles of Judah, and said to them, What evil thing is this which ye do, profaning the sabbath day?
And I rebuked the chief men of Juda, and said to them: What is this evil thing that you are doing, profaning the sabbath day?
I told the important people of Judah that they were wrong. I said, “You are doing a very bad thing. You are ruining the Sabbath day.
I was angry with the leaders of Judah. I said to them, ‘You are doing an evil thing. You are not making the Sabbath a special day.
So I accused the Judean nobles and said to them, “What is this evil thing that you are doing, by which you are profaning the Sabbath day?
Then I confronted the nobles of Judah and said to them, “What is this evil thing that you are doing, profaning the Sabbath day?
Then I confronted the nobles of Judah and said to them, “What is this evil thing that you are doing, profaning the Sabbath day?
I ·argued with [reprimanded; confronted] the ·important men [nobles] of Judah and said to them, “What is this evil thing you are doing? You are ·ruining [desecrating; profaning] the Sabbath day [Ex. 20:8–11; 31:12–17; Deut. 5:8–10].
Then reproved I the rulers of Judah, and said unto them, What evil thing is this that ye do, and break the Sabbath day?
I reprimanded the nobles of Judah and asked them, “What is this evil thing you’re doing? How dare you treat the day of rest—a holy day, as unholy!
I reprimanded the Jewish leaders and told them, “Look at the evil you're doing! You're making the Sabbath unholy.
I rebuked the nobles of Judah and said to them: “What is this evil you are doing—profaning the Sabbath day?
I argued with the important men of Judah. I said to them, “What is this evil thing you are doing? You are ruining the Sabbath day.
I rebuked the officials of Judah, saying to them, “What’s this evil thing that you’re doing by profaning the Sabbath day?
Then I contended with the nobles of Judah and said unto them, What evil thing is this that ye do and profane thus the sabbath day?
Then I contended with the nobles of Judah, and said unto them, What evil thing is this that ye do, and profane the sabbath day?
Then I contended with the nobles of Judah, and said unto them, What evil thing is this that ye do, and profane the sabbath day?
Then I contended with the nobles of Judah and said to them, “What is this evil thing you are doing, even profaning the sabbath day?
So I quarreled with the nobles of Judah and said to them, “What is this evil thing that you are doing, profaning the day of the Sabbath?
Then I asked the leaders of Judah, “Why are you profaning the Sabbath?
I confronted the leaders of Judah: “What’s going on here? This evil! Profaning the Sabbath! Isn’t this exactly what your ancestors did? And because of it didn’t God bring down on us and this city all this misery? And here you are adding to it—accumulating more wrath on Jerusalem by profaning the Sabbath.”
Then I confronted the nobles of Judah and asked them, “What is this evil thing that you are doing, profaning the Sabbath day?
I reprimanded the nobles of Judah and asked them, “What is this evil thing you’re doing? How dare you treat the day of worship as unholy!
I reprimanded the nobles of Judah, demanding: “What is this evil thing you are doing, profaning the sabbath day?
Then I reprimanded the nobles of Judah and said to them, “What is this evil thing that you are doing, by profaning the Sabbath day?
Then I reprimanded the nobles of Judah and said to them, “What is this evil thing you are doing, by profaning the sabbath day?
Therefore, I rebuked the nobles of Judah, saying to them: “What is this evil thing you are doing in profaning the Sabbath?
I argued with the important men of Judah and said to them, “What is this evil thing you are doing? You are ruining the Sabbath day.
So I registered a complaint with the nobles of Judah, saying to them, “What is this evil thing that you are doing, profaning the Sabbath day?
I gave a warning to the nobles of Judah. I said, “Why are you doing such an evil thing? You are misusing the Sabbath day!
I rebuked the nobles of Judah and said to them, “What is this wicked thing you are doing—desecrating the Sabbath day?
I rebuked the nobles of Judah and said to them, ‘What is this wicked thing you are doing – desecrating the Sabbath day?
Then I contended with the nobles of Judah, and said to them, “What evil thing is this that you do, by which you profane the Sabbath day?
Then I spoke sharp words to the leaders of Judah, saying, “What is this sinful thing you are doing by not keeping the Day of Rest holy?
So I confronted the nobles of Judah. “Why are you profaning the Sabbath in this evil way?” I asked.
Then I remonstrated with the nobles of Judah and said to them, ‘What is this evil thing that you are doing, profaning the sabbath day?
Then I remonstrated with the nobles of Judah and said to them, ‘What is this evil thing that you are doing, profaning the sabbath day?
Then I remonstrated with the nobles of Judah and said to them, “What is this evil thing that you are doing, profaning the sabbath day?
Then I contended with the nobles of Judah and said to them, “What is this evil thing that you are doing, profaning the Sabbath day?
Then I contended with the nobles of Yehudah, and said unto them, What evil thing is this that ye do, being Mechallel Shabbos (desecrator of Shabbos)?
Then I remonstrated with the nobles of Judah and said to them, “What is this evil thing which you are doing, profaning the sabbath day?
Then I remonstrated with the nobles of Judah and said to them, “What is this evil thing which you are doing, profaning the sabbath day?
So I complained to the nobles of Judah and asked them, “What is this evil thing that you are doing? You are profaning Yom Shabbat!
I confronted the leaders of Judah, whom I held responsible for the public’s actions. Nehemiah: Why are you doing what you know is wicked? You are desecrating the Sabbath!
Then I contended with the nobles of Judah, and said to them, “What evil thing is this that you do, and profane the Sabbath day?
And I rebuked the principal men of Judah, and I said to them, What is this evil thing that ye do, and make unholy the day of the sabbath? (And I rebuked the leaders of Judah, and I said to them, What is this evil thing that ye do, and make the Sabbath day unholy!)
And I strive with the freemen of Judah, and say to them, `What [is] this evil thing that ye are doing, and polluting the sabbath-day?
